This is my vision of the forest god inspired by Finnish mytology. Tapio is often pictured as a giant like older man that wears fur on his shoulders (and not much else).

People would make sacrifices to him on an altar in the forest to ask for a good hunt. Tapio has a whole court of people who keep the forest healthy and growing and take care of the forest animals.

His crown is made of roots that reach up into the sunlight. Details of the painting have a touch of golden paint that add the feel of sunlight.
