FAQ

Do you make all your art yourself?

All illustrations and designs are my handwork, no AI imagery/generation used.

I produce most of my products myself in Aalst in my art studio. This way I can have the full control of the quality and waste management.

Few items that I outsource I am always open about (separately mentioned on the product page) and make sure to use ecological and ethical options.

What software and tools do you use to create your art?

Sketchbook Pro

Photoshop

Wacom Intuous Pro (drawing pad)

Epson art printer (Eco tank)

Who are your suppliers?

Redbubble.com

Zapcreatives.com

Are your materials ecological?

I always prefer to use biodegradable or recyclable materials and also to reuse all materials as much as possible.

What is CCP/OPP?

Polypropylene is (non-toxic, environmentally low impact production, 100% recyclable with plastic and energy waste) used as a clear packing material.

What are the metal pins made out of?

Metal pins are made from 63% recycled metals, nickel-free, hypoallergic stainless steel, VOC -free inks, fully recyclable in metals.

What does VOC mean?

Volatile organic compounds (chemicals that vaporize to the air, often harmful to health).

What is Archival paper?

Archival paper is high museum quality, acid free paper, long lasting (resistance to sunlight and the test of time, no yellowing), with a clear matte result. I use Epson brand paper.

What does "small batch" production mean?

It means that the item is is only produced 1-50 items per batch depending on the type of the product. Most of the art prints are printed to order. This means that there will be no over production.

What do you mean by "zero waste"?

I try to use all of my materials and recycle/upcycle them into products or packing, so that as little as possible will go to waste.

What does "upcycle" mean?

I try to find second hand items and give them a new life as an art piece and even make usable art (for exsample a painted jewelry box).
